History
Byrne’s Hurls is a family run business from a small old-style workshop located just outside Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow.
TJ oversees every part of the hurley making process from sourcing only the best ash to cutting, shaping and sanding each of the hurls to customers preferences.
Traditional Methods
TJ makes each of the hurleys in the traditional method. This process includes; carefully selecting the finest ash, marking the planks and cutting the on the bandsaw, to spokeshaving and planing into shape.
Finally, the hurleys are finished on the sanding machine to ensure each one has the right weight and balance.
Delivery
Hurleys will be handmade and dispatched within 2-4 working days from receipt of your order.
Returns
You may return any item within 14 days in its original condition for a refund or replacement.
